REALISTIC TREE ASSET

This scene was lit using the Daylight System in 3DS Max. The trees feature alpha mapping for the leaves, as well as the bushes below. This was to ensure that they were as low poly as possible as the sand was high poly due to the displacement. They were also created as a direct inspiration of games such as 'Far Cry 3' and 'Uncharted' as both games feature beautiful beaches with low poly trees. As a result, I wanted to create trees which could fit into a video game such as Far Cry or Uncharted.
